Who we are
Nexus Tax and Accounting Solutions Ltd ("Nexus", "we", "us") is an accountancy practice based in Milton Keynes, UK. This policy explains how we collect and use personal data when you use this website or become a client.
What we collect
Through this website, we collect information you submit via our contact and consultation forms — name, email, phone number, business name, and anything you tell us in a message. If you become a client, we collect further information as required to provide accountancy and tax services, and to meet our anti-money laundering (AML) obligations.
Why we use it
To respond to enquiries, provide accountancy and tax advisory services, meet our legal and regulatory obligations (including to HMRC and under AML regulations), and to communicate with you about your account.
Who we share it with
We may share data with HMRC and other regulatory bodies where legally required, and with the cloud accounting and practice management software we use to deliver our services. We do not sell your data.
How long we keep it
Client accounting and tax records are typically retained for at least 6 years, in line with HMRC record-keeping requirements. Enquiry data from this website that doesn't lead to a client relationship is kept only as long as needed to respond to you.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data (subject to our legal retention obligations), and to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you have concerns about how we handle your data.
